Meet your crew: Ben Raley & Nikki Nicolet

Nikki Nicolet and Ben Raley come to Can Can after operating charter yachts in the contrasting environs of Alaska's Inside Passage! While they have sailed the waters for the British Virgin Islands in the past, gone are teh days of dipping their toes in the waters to test the temps - In the BVI it's always summer!

Nikki and Ben, both in their early 30s, are both US Coast Guard licensed captains. Ben studied climatology in school before gravitating to yachting, though he's also a registered Maine Guide and has cruised the waters of New England extensively. Nikki was a grade school teacher as well as a rock-climbing and mountaineering instructor

Nikkis' menu suggestions:

Banana pancakes topped with rum-maple syrup with crisp bacon
Traditional eggs benedict or eggs florentine with hollandaise sauce
Southwestern Omelet of tomato salsa, cheese, cilantro and avocado

Chilled crab pasta salad with feta cheese and black olives
Homemade pesto and tomato pizza with Caesar's salad
Spicy barbequed shrimp on a mixed green salad with citrus vinaigrette

Bruschetta with fresh tomato-basil salsa and olive tapenade
Australian sausage rolls
Gorgonzola stuffed mushroom and marinate olive platter

Crab cakes with sweet chili sauce
Mixed seafood cocktail with chilled crab, shrimp and lobster
