Meet your crew: Chris & Julie Bennett + first mate

Captain Chris Bennett was born in London, England where he received a degree in mechanical engineering. He has been sailing most of his life, starting in the local waters of the English Channel, and since 1992 has made his home on the waters of the Caribbean from the Virgin Islands to Grenada.  Prior to chartering, Chris was the district sales manager for an east coast engineering company. He loves sailing, teaching guests the basics of helmsmanship, and guiding guests on interesting snorkel trips. Chris also loves to find those out-of-the-way spots where his guests can explore quiet anchorages or hike a deserted beach.  For those interested in a bit of local color, Chris will gladly organize a trip to the William Thornton or Foxy's for a beach BBQ and a Jump-Up (party).

Chef / First Mate Julie Bennett was raised and educated a half a world away from Chris, in Kansas. Her degrees include a Bachelor's of Fine Arts and a Masters in Human Resources, which she put to use as a Director of Human Resources before beginning chartering in 1992.  Her culinary talents include the exotic (such as Caribbean & Indian specialties), Nouvelle Cuisine, as well as good old-fashioned heart-of-America dishes.  Julie can tailor your menu to include special dietary needs such as low-fat, vegetarian, or low-carb food plans. She enjoys ensuring people get what they need on their vacation, be it quiet time to unwind with a tropical cocktail in hand, listening to a great selection of music, fishing, snorkeling or a little bit of each.
